Both the access to the website and the use that may be made of the information contained therein is the sole responsibility of the person who carries it out. Therefore, I4LIFE is not responsible for the consequences that may result from such use or access to information and will only proceed to the elimination, as soon as possible, of the contents that could generate any type of damage or harm, provided that this is notified or have effective knowledge.

I4LIFE will not be held liable for possible security errors that may occur or for any damage that may be caused to the user’s computer system, files or documents stored therein, when they originate from a virus originating from the user’s computer, malfunctioning of the navigator or the use of non-updated versions thereof, telephone faults, interferences, omissions or disconnections in the operational functioning of the electronic system motivated by causes alien to I4LIFE.

I4LIFE may interrupt access temporarily for the implementation of improvements, introduction of security measures, updating or restructuring of computer resources or installation of new uses on the website. Interruptions will be notified in advance whenever possible and will be kept as short as possible, preferably taking advantage of night time.

Users with a “medical” role who access the clinical documentation of patients through the intranet available on this website are informed that they can download the patient’s data in PDF format for its conservation, in order to comply with the provisions of Article 17 of Law 41/2002, of November 14, basic regulatory of the autonomy of the patient and of rights and obligations in matters of information and clinical documentation. The user with a “medical” role is informed that I4LIFE is not responsible for the download of the data in a way that constitutes an obligation. I4LIFE makes available the necessary mechanisms for the “doctor” to comply with their data conservation obligations and have been treated in our application I4PARK.

I4LIFE once it is recorded that the “patient” user no longer wants to share the information with the “doctor” until the assigned time, will stop showing the information generated later, allowing access to the information of the “patient” until the date of change of doctor. During a prudential time, I4LIFE will keep the clinical information of the “patient” so that the “doctor” can perform the timely discharge and comply with the duty of information stated in the previous paragraph.

Integridad y salvaguarda de las condiciones de uso

Each of the stipulations of these conditions of use shall be interpreted separately and independently of the others. In the event that any of the clauses proved invalid or non-enforceable under any legal rule or was declared null by virtue of any court, legal norm or administrative authority, the nullity will only affect said clause and not the integrity and existence of the contract, keeping the rest of the agreements fully valid.

These General Conditions of Use will be governed by Spanish legislation and, in particular, by legislation on the protection of personal data (Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and its Regulation of development) and the legislation on services of the information society (Law 34/2002, of July 11, on services of the information society and electronic commerce). Any dispute will be resolved before the Courts of Gijón.
